His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met His Royal Highness Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. The meeting took place during HRH the Crown Prince's attendance at the official handover ceremony for the UK's new Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC), which was held at the Stanford Hall Estate near Loughborough.
HRH the Crown Prince affirmed that the ever-developing bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom are built on mutual respect, and a shared pursuit of safety, stability and prosperity.
HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of further enhancing military, diplomatic and economic ties which span over 200 years.
Following the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince along with HRH the Duke of Cambridge, the Duke of Westminster, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Theresa May, the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire Sir John Peace and General Sir Tim Granville Chapman attended a lunch banquet.
