MP George Okeiss affirmed on Monday that the setback that Meerab agreement had witnessed lately was restorable, stressing that positive indicators "must come from all political forces."
In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker said that all political parties perceived the danger of delaying the formation of the government.
Okeiss also revealed a role that would be played by Maronite Patriarch, Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi in this regard, as well as that of the three senior leaders of the state, in order to overcome the obstacles that have been hindering the formation of the government.
He finally hoped that the current week would be a decisive one for the formation of the government, especially in the context of the positive contacts that will take place between political forces.
