MP Nicolas Nahhas on Tuesday linked delay in forming the government to developments in Syria, noting that there were new calculations and balances in the region.
In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker stressed the need to accelerate the formation of a cohesive government with a reform plan.
In this context, he called on concerned sides not to depend on regional developments "since local deadlines were imminent."
Moreover, he lauded the "positive" Russian activity concerning the Syrian refugee dossier, noting that the return of refugees must be final and unconditional.
