Ramallah, The Palestinian Cabinet extended thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud for hosting the martyrs’ families to perform the Haj rituals this year. The weekly session which convened today, commended the services and care provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Palestinian pilgrims.
It congratulated the Palestinian pilgrims on performing the Haj rituals this year, hailing the dedicated efforts which were exerted by concerted authorities. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guest Program was first launched in 1997 during the reign of late Saudi monarch King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
It continued during the era of late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and then the prosperous era of current Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The programme which is carried by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance benefited more than 42,000 pilgrims from different nationalities up to the year 2017.
