MP Eddy Abillamah said on Tuesday that the Lebanese Forces had made serious efforts in a bid to facilitate the formation of the government.
In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker said that those who had been obstructing the formation of the government, continued to do so.
Moreover, Abillamah vehemently condemned attempts to hinder the formation of the cabinet, deeming such acts unacceptable. "The government must be formed quickly to protect the economy," he added.
He finally reiterated the Lebanese Forces' demand of a sovereign portfolio or the post of Deputy Prime Minister.
