Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, Jane Waltmans, on Friday visited Akkar district, conducting a tour in the localities of Kfarmalki and the border Wadi Khaled regions.
Ambassador Waltmans was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Dutch Red Cross activities in Lebanon, Ata Durrani, and a delegation of the Lebanese Red Cross.
During the tour, the Ambassador had firsthand look at the support and assistance provided by Holland via the Dutch Red Cross to the Lebanese Red Cross in Kfarmalki and Wadi Khaled.
Waltmans also visited Kfarmalki camp for Syrian refugees, inquiring about their daily living conditions and needs at the various levels.
