Abadi, Halbusi Stresses The Importance Of Cooperation Between Executie And Legislatie Authorities To Sere Iraqi People

BAGHDAD / NINA / -Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, during a meeting with Speaker of the House of Representaties Mohamed Halbusi, stressed the importance of cooperation between the executie and legislatie authorities to sere the interests of the people.

The press office of the Prime Minister said in a press statement: "Abadi receied Halbusi and congratulated him on his election as Speaker of the House of Representaties. He expressed his hope that the next phase will see more cooperation between the executie and legislatie authorities to sere the interests of the Iraqi people."

He called on the President of the House of Representaties to accelerate the completion of laws of priority that support the trend towards the reconstruction of Iraq and stability, prosperity, achiee aspirations of people and meet its legitimate demands.

For his part, Halbusi stressed: "The importance of presering the national gains achieed by the Iraqi people and unity and the preseration of soereignty and national wealth," noting: "The new Parliament is keen to promote national unity and coexistence among Iraqis and cooperation with the executie authority and work to maintain relations with Arab, regional and international, so as to presere the security and stability of the region and the interests of its people."

During the meeting, they stressed the importance of adhering to the rules and the constitutional timing and the need to accelerate the formation of the Iraqi goernment and join efforts to deelop serices and reconstruction of all proinces and meet the demands of Iraqi people. Abadi and Halbusi also stressed the need to presere the unity of Iraq and its people, who faced Daesh and sacrificed and defeated terrorism and sectarianism by its unity and the braery of its security forces.
