Internal Security Forces (ISF) chief, Imad Othman, met this Friday at his Barracks office with the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, and the Embassy's Internal Security Attache.
The visit comes as part of cooperation and coordination between the ISF and the Embassy.
Talks reportedly touched on the general situation in the country.
Later, Maj. Gen. Othman welcomed at his office the director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, Christopher Wray, accompanied by the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Elizabeth Richard, and a delegation.
Discussions reportedly dwelt on security issues of mutual concern and means of cooperation in the fields of information, training and equipment.
