Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri received today at the Center House the World Bank Vice President for Middle East and North Africa Ferid Belhaj and the Regional Director of the Bank Saroj Kumar Jha.
After the meeting, Belhaj said: "We expressed to Premier Hariri the World Bank's stance that Lebanon should make substantial and serious reforms, particularly in the sectors of energy and electricity, in order to attract investments."
Hariri also met with the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher. They discussed the political developments and the bilateral relations.
Hariri received the Middle East and North Africa Director of the International Organization for Migration, Carmela Godeau.
Discussions tackled the activities of the organization and its coordination with the Lebanese administrations regarding the Syrian refugees.
Hariri later on received the Caretaker Minister of Finance, Ali Hassan Khalil.
He met with MP Bahia Hariri, in the presence of the editor in chief of the "Daily Star" newspaper, Nadim Ladki, and a delegation from the Hariri Foundation, composed of Roubina Abou Zeinab, Heba Hnaine, Nahla Zibaoui and Dima Hassan. They presented to him books gathering a series of articles they published in the "Daily Star" about development issues. The books are published by Ramzi Hafez.
