"National Dialogue" Party head, MP Fouad Makhzoumi, on Friday welcomed at his office in Downtown Beirut the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Chris Rampling.
Talks reportedly touched on the current situation on the regional and international arena.
In the wake of the meeting, Makhzoumi congratulated Ambassador Rampling on his assumption of his diplomatic duties in Lebanon, hoping further promotion of relations with Britain.
Makhzoumi also highlighted the UK's permanent support to Lebanon's stability.
On the other hand, Makhzoumi visited Beirut Governor, Judge Ziad Shbib, with whom he discussed the solutions to the problem of the torrential rain floods that swept Ramlet al-Bayda few days ago.
