The Iraqi Govt Confirms Its Refusal To The Forcibly Return To Iraqi Refugees

BAGHDAD, The Iraqi government confirmed its refusal to the forcibly return to Iraqi refugees.

"The Iraqi ambassador to Sweden, Ahmed al-Kamali met with Kostav Land, head of the human rights, international law and treaties department of the Swedish Foreign Ministry," a foreign ministry statement said.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed, including the Iraqi government's refusal to the forcibly return to Iraqi refugees and activating agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries.

For his part, the Swedish official said during the meeting, "all the issues raised during the meeting will be studied."
