BAGHDAD, The Ministry of Oil announced on Wednesday the export of more than 115 million barrels of oil at a rate of 52,803 dollars per barrel at the end of 2018.
The Spokesman for the Ministry of Oil Assem Jihad said in a statement to the Ministry, that the total quantities exported from crude oil for the month of last December from the oil fields in the (south and central and northern Iraq) amounted to (115) million and (517) thousand and (974) barrels, and the total quantities exported from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (112) million and (450) and (367) barrels, while the total quantities exported from the northern fields through the Turkish port of Ceyhan amounted to (3) and (67) thousand and 607) barrels.
Jihad said that "the average price per barrel amounted to (52,803) dollars, and the daily rate of oil exports from the south of the country amounted to (3,726) million barrels. The daily average of exports through the northern port (99) thousand barrels."
It is noteworthy that the Ministry and its belief in the need to inform the people of the export operations and revenues it took from this monthly action.
