Riyadh, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) was engaged in several humanitarian and relief works in a number of countries, benefiting the needy and the poor in those areas, it was reported here today.
It has given away an amount of 11200 kilos worth of the Kingdom's gift of dates to the Republic of Senegal.
In Yemen, KSrelief has successfully unearthed this April 24 anti-human land mines, 1018 anti-machine mines, 197 explosives and 1082 intact ammunition, bringing about 2321 mines unearthed since the inception of the project.
The center's authorities in Yemen have distributed 1516 food baskets weighing 112.184 tons on several villages in the governorates of Heran and Abbs in the province of Hijja, benefiting 9096 persons.
In Al-Hodeidah, more than 1000 Cholera suspects have reported to KSrelief clinics in the first quarter of this year, according to official statistics.
