Head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Abdul-Amir Kabalan, received a delegation from the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia headed by Saleh Bin Munea Al-Khaliwi, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador Walid Bukhari.
The meeting touched on ties between Arab and Islamic countries and ways to strengthen cooperation between them and activate cooperation between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, which will contribute to enhancing stability in Lebanon and strengthening bilateral relations.
Kabalan welcomed the Saudi delegation, underlining the brotherly relations with the Saudi people. "This visit strengthens brotherly ties and friendship between the two brotherly peoples," he said.
He shed light on the embrace given to Lebanese residing in Saudi Arabia "who consider Saudi Arabia as their second homeland and contribute to the prosperity of the Kingdom, whilst enjoying the affection of their brothers and their families in Saudi Arabia."
