TEHRAN, Akbar Turkan, the advisor of Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani said there were positive messages from Saudi Arabia and senior Iranian officials responded to them positively.
Turkan said in a statement to the Iranian channel (Al-Alam) that there are messages and positive indicators that we received from Saudi Arabia and senior Iranian officials responded positively, adding that the first positive messages manifested by dealing with our pilgrims and there are other positive Saudi steps.
"There is a possibility that Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the rest of the Gulf states, will strengthen the security of the region," he said.
Turkan said: "We have recently made good progress in our relationship with the UAE."
