Riyadh, The Official Spokesman of Coalition Forces ''Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen'' Colonel Turki Al-Maliki stated that on Wednesday evening, the coalition forces managed to intercept and shoot down in Yemen's airspace a drone Launched by Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Sanaa towards the kingdom.
Colonel Al-Maliki explained that all attempts by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to launch drones are doomed to fail and the coalition takes all operational procedures and best practices of engagement rules to deal with these drones to protect civilians.
He noted that the recently repeated terrorist attempts by the terrorist Houthi militia are the result of the great losses in their terrorist elements and their supplies and equipment and through the military operations carried out by the coalition. He added that the terrorist attempts and media misinformation come to raise the morale of their terrorist elements, stressing the continuation of the Command of the Joint Forces of the Coalition to implement deterrent measures against this terrorist militia to neutralize and destroy these capabilities firmly, and in accordance with the international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
