BAGHDAD, Saudi police uncovered details of a person's intimidation of citizens by firing with a machine gun from inside his house in western Sakaka city.
"The security patrols started last Thursday a report of a person firing with a machine gun from inside his house in the area of Baidhaa Al-Tuwair neighborhood west of Sakaka," the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
He added: "When the security men arrived at the site and began to explore the situation came under fire from the accused when he came out in an attempt to flee them, which necessitated reciprocal response and control the weapon used in his possession, also seized 22 empty envelopes at the site and two white weapons," stressing that the accused was injured in the foot and taken to the hospital where he received the necessary treatment.
The Military Spokesman concluded by saying that "Al-Jawf Police announce this to confirm the keenness of the Ministry of Interior on the security of the homeland, citizen and resident, and that the security authorities will work to implement the regulations with full force and firmness and rigor against those who violate them.
