KSrelief’s Masam Project Dismantles 1,077 Mines in the Last Week of August

Riyadh, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1,077 hidden detrimental items during the last week of August 2019, including five antipersonnel mines, 363 anti-tank, 635 unexploded ordnance and 74 explosive devices.

Since the start of the project, 84,825 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and the elderly.
