The President of the Council of Ministers Saad Hariri said that the government must make every effort to get the country out of its crisis. He added: In the coming days, you will see a great effort from the government to survive this storm, which can hurt us, but if we protect ourselves and take the right measures we will overcome it.
Hariri 's words came during his patronage this afternoon of a celebration in honor of the Hajj pilgrims, organized by the Future movement Beirut section at Mohammed Al-Amin Mosque in downtown Beirut.
Hariri congratulated the pilgrims and thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its generosity towards the Lebanese pilgrims.
He then touched on the economic situation. He said: We have to change the way we work in the country and be honest and loyal with the people. This is the basis and this is what martyr Rafic Hariri did.
Hariri added: The Lebanese citizen feels that the state is not doing its duty towards him. We must make every effort to get the country out of this crisis.
I have to work very hard, but we all have to work together for Lebanon.
