Iran Accuses Foreign Parties Of Creating An Atmosphere For Foreign Intervention In Iraq

BAGHDAD, The Advisor of the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Hussein Amir Abdullahian accused the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia of exploiting the real demands of the Iraqi people to create the atmosphere for foreign intervention in this country.

Abdullahian said in a press statement: This country seeks to destabilize the security and stability of Iraq and overthrow the elected government and create the atmosphere for foreign intervention in Iraq by exploiting the real demands of the Iraqi people.

He added that: This country follows the method of employing the Baathists of the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and intruders in order to exploit them to hinder the work of the government.

He stressed that: The solution lies in the real interest in the living demands of the Iraqi people and the immediate withdrawal of US military forces from Iraq.

Baghdad and other provinces in the center and south of the country witnessed, since the beginning of October, a wave of protests and mass demonstrations to demand the fight against corruption and the provision of services and jobs led to the fall of martyrs and wounded demonstrators and security forces.
