Riyadh, The number of winners in the competitions of the 2nd King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival reached 617 in 92 heats for the 400-meter Al-Dawa (Al-Mallawah) and the beauty competitions, in Malham, north of Riyadh.
In a statement issued today, the Saudi Falcons Club announced that the festival set a new record to enter the Guinness Book of Records once again, after the number of falcons registered in its competitions reached 2350 falcons for this edition, breaking the previous record of the festival that it achieved last year, with 1723 falcons
During 17-day event, the festival witnessed a participation of 1106 falconers from 5 countries, including 58 falconers at a category of the Saudi professionals, 918 Saudi owners, 107 international owners, and 23 international professionals.
The prizes of the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival exceeded more than SR21 million.
