Riyadh, The Faculty of Science, at King Saud University, honored here today, male and female participants in quality work that led to the faculty's obtaining the German International Academic Accreditation (AZIN) for its 16 departments, in the presence of the Vice President for Planning and Development, at the university Dr. Yousef bin Abdu Assiri, and the Dean of the Faculty Dr. Nasser bin Mohammed Al Dagri.
Dr. Al-Dagri said that this achievement for the next seven years of international academic accreditation for the faculty, was achieved only through the efforts of the staff and with direct support and continuous follow-up from the university senior staff.
For his part, Undersecretary for Development and Quality, at the faculty, Dr. Majid bin Saleh Al-Aqil stated that academic accreditation means a commitment on its part to provide high-quality educational services, in a world-class teaching for male and female students, maintain a distinctive and stimulating environment for the faculty, and strive towards continuous improvement in programs academy.
On the other hand, Dr. Assiri stressed the role that the faculty keeps playing, as it is contributing to advancing the educational and research process, at the university, as the faculty makes up 50% of the university's research output.
Obtaining international academic accreditation from the German advisory body is a proactive step in the university's march, in general and of the faculty, in particular, in a way that is beneficial to the scientific path, he elaborated, as the march of male and female students to benefit and contributes to raising the scientific and academic level and make it among the high-quality scientific units globally speaking and a focus attracting global business sectors and scientific counterparts, Dr. Assiri concluded.
