Jeddah, On the eve of the "Saudi International Golf Professionals Championship", scheduled to take place as part of the Saudi golf campaign to inspire more than one million people to try the game in the next decade, the US 12th-world-classified professional golfer Patrick Reed, paid today a visit to the Golf World Academy located in Jeddah-based King Abdullah Economic City.
During the visit, Reed gave the students of the school an account of the importance of the profession and its practice as well as important lessons derived from his own career.
He praised the Kingdom's support for golf sports, citing its hosting of tomorrow's international event.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi International Golf Championship will be held at Jeddah Middle East's most distinguished stadium, hosting, in addition to Reed four renowned golfers: Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Shane Lowry and Philip Mickelson.
