The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority
(SFDA), took part in a remote meeting with the World Health Organization (WHO).
This meeting came to discuss the promising opportunities to support a number of the African countries, through the African Medical Devices Forum (AMDF), and to provide the experience, consultations and developments related to the medical devices and the role of SFDA related to the Coronavirus.
The meeting was chaired by the WHO Secretariat General in Geneva in the presence of the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, and with the participation of Ghana, Tanzania, Nigeria and South Africa as well as SFDA experts.
