Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi on Tuesday welcomed Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, who arrived in Amman on Monday.
The Saudi minister convoyed a message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing Saudi Arabia’s stand by Jordan in facing challenges and support of all steps that King Abdullah takes to protect Jordan and its interests.
During the meeting, the deputy premier appreciated Saudi’s continuous support for Jordan.
Safadi and Prince Faisal underlined the deep-rooted and historic relations between the two Kingdoms and emphasized the importance of further developing them.
Safadi stressed that the security and stability of the two countries are one and inseparable and that they always stand together against all challenges.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the region and means to deal with them in a manner that serves common interests, Arab causes and achieves security and stability.
