Riyadh: A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province on Friday evening after a major quake hit the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and was felt by residents in Kabul.

There have been no initial reports of injuries or significant damage.
