Joint security forces carried out a security operation to track down the wanted persons within the Muqdadiya sector in Diyala Governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that joint security forces carried out a joint operation within the northern sector of Muqdadiya district, northeast of Baquba, which included searching the villages of Sinsel, Hanbas, and Al-Tayeh, all the way to the banks of the Diyala River from Al-Zour side, to pursue and arrest the wanted persons, secure farms and orchards, and restore the security deployment plan.

He added that the operation is being carried out with the support of the intelligence detachments and according to specific objectives within the security sectors.
