A parliamentary bloc boycotts voting sessions on the election law

The New Generation Parliamentary Bloc announced its boycott of the voting sessions on a proposal to amend the Provincial and District Councils Elections Law No. 12 of 2018.

The Head of the bloc, MP Sarwa Abdel Wahed, said in a press statement today, Sunday, “We boycotted today’s session to vote on completing the articles of the Parliament Elections Law,” adding, “We also boycotted the previous sessions in support of the Emtidad movement, the Independents, and the opposition voices. We will not leave our partners in the middle of the road.”
