Riyadh– Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa praised the level of Al-Hilal Club that realized its best achievement at the FIFA Club World Cup after ranking second in the tournament that concluded yesterday at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, where Al-Hilal lost to Real Madrid 5-3.
On this occasion, Sheikh Salman said: “On behalf of the Asian football family, I would like to commend Al-Hilal for showing praise-worthy personality and team spirit, it demonstrated its best performance and ranked second at the Morocco-hosted 2022 FIFA Club World Cup. Such results are considered an indicator for future performances by Asian clubs, which will be inspired by this achievement to develop and show higher levels in the coming years.”
