Baghdad- Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani stressed the importance of the relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia reflecting concretely on the reality of the two brotherly countries.
A statement by Al-Sudani's office stated: The Prime Minister discussed, during his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and his accompanying delegation, the bilateral relations between the two countries, the consolidation of mutual cooperation in various fields, joint coordination on regional and international issues, and an emphasis on activating the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council and committees shared between the two countries.
The Prime Minister referred to the relations between the two brotherly countries, and the importance of having them reflect concretely on the reality of the two countries, through cooperation frameworks at various levels .
For his part, the Saudi Foreign Minister affirmed his country's aspiration to open broader horizons of cooperation with Iraq, in several fields, in a way that achieves economic integration between the two countries and enhances the interests of their peoples.
