New York, Aug. 02, 2022, SPA — Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohamed Al-Wasel has presented his credentials as permanent representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations in New York to the Secretary General of the United Nations organization Antonio Guterres.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Wasel conveyed the greetings of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Secretary General of the United Nations, who wished him every success during his second term of office.

During the meeting, aspects of close cooperation and partnership binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations and ways of enhancing work between them in a way that serves the joint interests were reviewed.

Ambassador Dr. Al-Wasel has served as ambassador and permanent representative of his country to the United Nations organization in Geneva since 2016.
