Riyadh, Saudi students, delegated by the Education Ministry in partnership with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba”, won three international awards at the 18th International Junior Science Olympiad 2021, held virtually in the UAE, after competing against 324 male and female students from 60 countries.

This participation comes as part of Mawhiba program for the International Olympiad, held in an integrated strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, raising to 21 the number of Olympiad awards collected by Saudi winners, including a gold, two silver and 17 bronze medals, in addition to the silver for the second place by the practical team in the 2018 Olympics, which was won during its participation in the competition between 2015 and 2018.
