Al-baha: The General Directorate of Civil Defense warned the public to stay safe amid continuing thunderstorms until Thursday, advising everyone to avoid flood-prone areas and valleys, refrain from swimming, and follow official instructions via media and social media. The directorate emphasized the importance of adhering to safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure public safety during this period of adverse weather conditions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate indicated that Makkah Region is expected to experience light to moderate rain, while Riyadh Region will see moderate to heavy rainfall. Residents in these areas are urged to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect themselves and their properties from potential flooding.
The agency further reported that the Eastern Region will experience moderate to heavy rain. Meanwhile, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Hail, Northern Borders, Madinah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, Najran, and Qassim regions are expected to see light to moderate rain showers. Authorities in these regions are on high alert to respond to any emergencies that may arise due to the inclement weather.
