Crown Prince and President Trump Discuss Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation

Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a phone call with President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America.



According to Saudi Press Agency, during the call, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince conveyed congratulations from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his own well-wishes to President Trump on his inauguration. The Crown Prince expressed hopes for progress and prosperity for the American people under President Trump’s leadership.



The conversation focused on strengthening cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States to promote peace, security, and stability in the Middle East. Both leaders emphasized enhancing bilateral efforts to combat terrorism.



Additionally, discussions included potential areas for enhancing bilateral ties. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince praised the U.S. administration’s potential for economic reforms and expressed Saudi Arabia’s interest in participating in partnership and investment opportunities.



The Crown Prince highlighted the Kingdom’s intention to expand its investments and trade with the United States, aiming for $600 billion over the next four years, with potential for further growth.



President Trump expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their congratulations and affirmed his eagerness to collaborate with Saudi Arabia in ways that benefit both nations’ interests.
