Eastern region: Eastern Region Municipality has announced the development of an integrated sports zone spanning over 4,100 square meters along Al-Khobar's waterfront, aimed at encouraging diverse segments of society to participate in physical activities within a safe and appealing environment.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the zone will include four courts covering 2,400 square meters for basketball, volleyball, and tennis, complemented by a 200-square-meter fitness equipment area and a 1,300-square-meter skating area, all built to the highest technical standards.

The municipality emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance quality of life, foster physical activity, and transform the waterfront into a vibrant urban destination.
