Education Minister: MicroX Short University Programs Initiative Enhances Students’ Abilities and Equips Them with Job Market Skills

Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National eLearning Center Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan emphasized the support that the education sector receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

He noted that this support is part of the ongoing development of the education system and the effort to build globally competitive citizens through educational programs and projects that align with future directions, in the context of achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.

The minister added that the “MicroX” short university programs initiative, implemented by the National eLearning Center, aims to enhance the human capabilities of citizens and equip them with skills aligned with the rapid changes in various sectors of the labor market. This is achieved through 350 short university programs delivered in a digital format.

Al-Benyan indicated that “MicroX,” i
n collaboration with more than 200 local and international partners, will support specialized and vital sectors that contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He also noted that it will equip the labor market with emerging and new skills arising from changes in various sectors.

By offering these programs digitally and in a flexible manner, the initiative makes education more accessible to a broader audience, enabling individuals to choose the educational path best suited to their needs and professional requirements.
