Federation of Saudi Chambers Holds Meeting to Support Al-Quds Empowerment Fund

Riyadh: The Federation of Saudi Chambers organized an extensive meeting Wednesday with the Saudi business sector to support the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund. It was attended by fund board chairman.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting comes as an affirmation of the federation's active role in enhancing the Saudi private sector's contribution to Islamic causes, particularly supporting the Palestinian people. At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Turki bin Faisal expressed appreciation for the federation's role in charitable work.

He noted that the meeting reflects support for Palestine and the resilience of its people, in line with the Kingdom's longstanding stance since the era of late King Abdulaziz up to the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

'Palestine, and Al-Quds (Jerusalem) in particular, is going through difficult circumstances, which necessitates intensifying efforts to economically and socially empower the Palestinian people through the Al-Quds Empowerment Fund,' Prince Turki bin Faisal said.

He described the meeting as a valuable opportunity to scale up mobilization, build partnerships, and expand initiatives, especially given the Islamic Development Bank's (IsDB's) strong reputation and global presence. Moreover, the prince called on the Saudi business sector to support Al-Quds Empowerment Fund, emphasizing its social responsibility and religious duty.
