Madinah, Jul 31, 2022, SPA — The first batch of Umrah performers from abroad arrived in Madinah today, the first day of the launch of this year’s Umrah season 1444 Hijri (2022/2023).

They were 176 visitors from the Republic of Iraq.

Upon arrival, they were received by a number of officials of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah who presented bouquets of roses, various dishes of dates and bottles of Zamzam water to the Iraqi visitors.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah had launched the Umrah season for Umrah performers at home and from abroad for this year’s Umrah season 1444 Hijri (2022-2023), starting from the first of Muharram, as it provides a number of various options for issuing of Umrah permits and booking appointments through the application of “Eatmarna” as part of the framework of the efforts made to facilitate the services provided to pilgrims and visitors to perform Umrah with ease and smooth.

The application of Eatmarna provides a number of various options for booking appointments according to the capacity of the Grand Mosque around the clock, and also provides a number of instructions to enter the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
