Qassim: Governor of Qassim Region Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz attended here today the inauguration of the First West Asian Archery Championship at the King Abdullah Sports City in the first regional event of its kind bringing together participants from 10 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Faisal expressed pride in the Qassim Region for hosting such a tournament, saying that not only does it bolster Saudi Arabia’s stature in both regional and international sports, but also underscores the unwavering support of the leadership toward the development of different sports.

Chairman of the Saudi Archery Federation Majid Al-Hokair emphasized that the archery tournament represents a significant milestone in the pursuit of ambitious plans to support and develop the sport at both local and regional levels. He expressed enthusiasm for fostering competitive spirit and achieving a high standard of performance that showcases the advancement of archery in the Kingdom.
