Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani today received French Ambassador-Designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain Eric Giroux, who submitted a copy of his credentials.

Dr. Al Zayani commended long standing friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of France, noting joint keenness on further bolstering joint ties.

The French diplomat also hailed outstanding bilateral relations, stressing the importance of reinforcing joint ties towards achieving common interests.

The meeting was also attended by Chief of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmed Ebrahim Al Qarainees.
