Riyadh: At Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night event, attended by General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh, French fighter Nassourdine Imavov, ranked fourth globally, secured a knockout victory over New Zealand’s Israel Adesanya just 30 seconds into the second round.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in the main event at the anb Arena, Adesanya and Imavov engaged in a back-and-forth exchange during the first round, with Imavov slightly gaining the upper hand. However, Imavov unleashed a barrage of powerful punches at the start of the second round, forcing Adesanya to surrender.
Prior to the main event, British fighter Michael “Venom” Page, utilizing his superior tactics and speed, earned a unanimous decision victory over Russian opponent Shara Magomedov. Page maintained dominance throughout the three rounds with quick maneuvers and precise strikes, delivering Magomedov his first career loss.
In the women’s fight, Canadian Jasmine Jasudavicius dominated Brazilian Mayra Bueno Silva, securing a unanimous decision victory. Jasudavicius showcased exceptional tactical performance and remarkable ability, maintaining control throughout the three rounds.
