Dammam: The GCC Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) held a specialized workshop on AI today at its headquarters in Dammam, in collaboration with Points Information Technology. The initiative is part of GCCIA's ongoing efforts to support digital transformation and promote technological innovation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop aimed to showcase the potential of AI in enhancing institutional efficiency by leveraging Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI to integrate AI into GCCIA's operations. This integration is intended to unlock new opportunities for productivity, decision-making, and innovation. The workshop also seeks to foster an innovative digital culture aligned with global advancements, operational excellence, and a strong foundation of innovation and digital empowerment.

The event featured live demonstrations of the latest AI applications in daily work environments, focusing on Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
