GCC SG Stresses Need to Open New Horizons for Economy

Manama, There is a need to open new horizons for the GCC countries’ economy in a way that would benefit and develop its member states, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf stressed during his current visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Minister of Finance and National Economy of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa held a meeting here today with GCC Secretary General.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the global economy, and reviewed many issues of common interest.

Also, Dr. Al-Hajraf affirmed the importance of coordinating joint action and enhancing GCC economic cooperation and integration at all levels, in a way that contributes to creating qualitative opportunities in various sectors in implementation of the directives of the leaders of GCC member states.
