“Lebanese Forces” Party Leader, Samir Geagea, announced that the “Strong Republic” bloc will not participate in the Parliament session that will be held tomorrow in order to postpone the municipal and mayoral elections. Geagea called on the “Democratic Gathering” and “National Moderation” blocs and other independent blocs and MPs “not to fall into the trap of the opposing blocs and the Free Patriotic Movement, and also to refrain from participating in the session.” Geagea’s positions came after the meeting of the “Strong Republic” bloc in Maarab, considering that “the opposition axis and the Free Patriotic Movement are disrupting the presidential elections, paralyzing the country and institutions, preventing the establishment of the actual state, and working to disrupt municipal elections.”
