The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque – as part of the “Serving the pilgrim and the visitor is a medal of pride for us” campaign in its eleventh year, under the slogan “From arrival to Departure” – distributed 12,000 umbrellas and prayer rugs to the guests of Rahman, inside the Grand Mosque, during their performance of Tawaf Al Wadaa (farewell circumambulation).

The Assistant Undersecretary of the Grand Mosque for Social Affairs and Chairman of the Campaign, Janadi bin Ali Madkhali, stressed that this initiative comes in order to provide the best services to the pilgrims and to promote the principle of good hospitality for pilgrims.

Madkhali said that the Grand Mosque Agency for Social Affairs has provided many initiatives to serve pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque and to provide the best professional services, including distributing gifts and activating programs to serve the pilgrims. He added that it seeks to facilitate all procedures for pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and comfort, noting that this initiative came within a package of initiatives provided by the presidency to the guests of Rahman.
