Riyadh: Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah started a two-day official visit to the Republic of Turkey with the objective of expanding collaboration in serving pilgrims and addressing associated challenges.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit is designed to explore joint solutions to the challenges faced by pilgrims, review advancements in digital transformation, and enhance the quality of services provided. The minister's itinerary includes official meetings with senior Turkish officials and bilateral discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in the realm of pilgrimage services.

This visit is part of Saudi Arabia's broader strategy to transform the Hajj and Umrah system under the Pilgrim Experience Program, a significant initiative within Saudi Vision 2030. The program seeks to improve service quality and facilitate the pilgrimage journey for millions of visitors to the holy sites each year.
