Riyadh: Weather Forecast for Friday predicts significant weather changes across various regions in Saudi Arabia, with heavy rain and dust-stirring winds expected to affect multiple areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has issued an alert indicating that parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region may experience heavy rain, potentially accompanied by hail. The forecast also highlights the likelihood of moderate to heavy rainfall in different areas throughout the Kingdom.
Fog formation is anticipated during the night and early morning in Hail, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, and the coastal areas of Tabuk and the Eastern Region, as well as in the southwestern highlands. This may affect visibility and travel conditions in these regions.
The Red Sea will experience varying wind patterns, with northerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 12-35 km/h in the northern part and southeasterly to sou
thwesterly winds at 20-60 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights are expected to range from one to more than two meters, leading to conditions that may fluctuate from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast predicts northerly to northeasterly winds reaching speeds of 15-35 km/h. Waves may vary from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm.
