Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast warning of moderate to heavy rain, potentially leading to flash floods, along with hail and dust-stirring winds across parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forecast also indicates light to moderate rain in parts of Riyadh, the Eastern and Najran regions, and the southern highlands of the Madinah Region. These weather conditions may cause disruptions and necessitate precautions in affected areas.
The report further details that winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly winds at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the southern part. Sea conditions are expected to range from calm to choppy, with waves reaching up to two and a half meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be predominantly northwesterly, traveling at speeds of 15-30 km/h. The sea is predicted to remain relatively calm, with waves measuring between half a meter and one and a half meters.
