Iraq is in the third group of the Arab U-20 Championship

Dubai, The Arab Cup for under-20 teams, organized by the Arab Football Association, and to be held from June 20 to July 6 in the Arab Republic of Egypt, has placed our Iraqi team in Group C with: Senegal, Lebanon and Comoros.

The first group included: Egypt, Niger, Mauritania and Algeria, and the second group each of: UAE, Morocco, Tajikistan and Djibouti, and the third group each of: Senegal, Lebanon, Iraq and Comoros, and the fourth group each of: Tunisia, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and a fourth team, to be determined later.

The draw ceremony, which took place yesterday in Cairo, was attended by Dr. Raja’allah Al-Salami, Secretary-General of the Arab Football Association, Dr. Moatasem Jaafar, a member of the Board of Directors, and Ahmed Mujahid, Head of the Egyptian Football Association, and the opening match between Egypt and Niger is scheduled for next June 20 .

It is noteworthy that Senegal won the title of the last round, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 16 teams.
