ISESCO and UNICEF sign an MoU for cooperation in fields of education and children and youths rights

Rabat, The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) signed in the Moroccan capital of Rabat today, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of education, childhood development, youths capacity building, training development related to tomorrow’s professions, and artificial intelligence applications, in order to protect the rights of children and youths, and get them prepared and rehabilitated to face the future.

The document was signed by Ambassador Khaled Fateh Al-Rahman, Supervisor of Partnerships and International Cooperation Sector, on behalf of ISESCO, and Giovanna Barberis, UNICEF representative in Morocco, on behalf of her organization.

The memorandum aims to exchange information, share knowledge about projects and programs related to education, childhood development, social and economic integration of youths, and cooperation in holding the Early Childhood Conference in 2022. Furthermore, the MoU aims at promoting a culture of foresight among young people, ushering the future from a youths perspective campaign, and participating in organizing forums and workshops on common interest topics.
